In preparation, RWG will start sending back additional information via the Hinterland Container Notification Service (MCA) from Monday 21 November. In this way, you as a road haulier will be informed about actions to be taken regarding a payment subscription and acceptance of conditions at Secure Logistics (payment partner RWG).
Alerts for all your visits to RWG
The pre-notification process will not change. However, you will receive alerts for all your visits to RWG from the 21st of November 2022. These temporary notifications will appear on the web screens of HCN (the information is also communicated via the API system interface) and their priority can be low or medium.
If you do not take any action, it will no longer be possible to pre-notify RWG from 1 January 2023. Make sure you have taken the following actions:
An active EAN number is required for the HCN service. If you do not have a valid EAN number, you have already been written to by Portbase and you must pass on your company details and your active EAN number to Portbase by completing the change form. You can tick “Service specific”. For questions about EAN numbers, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
RWG requests that you create an account with Secure Logistics (SL). If your organisation has a cargo card, you have an existing account with SL. In your SL account, you can confirm that you accept the terms and conditions of RWG by checking the box in the XS-ID portal of SL.
