Development issue: Unjustified ‘not nominated’ message for pre-notification of ECT

Scenario:

• Containers that have previously gone through the Trust Chain and been handled at an ECT terminal may be stuck with a new pre-notification.
• ECT incorrectly informs the Inland Operator that it is not authorized to pre-notify the container at the terminal.
• Scenario is known to Portbase Customer Service as ‘Sticky container’.

Result:

• Pre-notification is refused due to outstanding nomination from previous release process.

Workaround:

• The outstanding release must be closed by Portbase via a Customer Service ticket.

Planning solution:

• The solution has been live since July 2024.
• This scenario can only occur with containers that were released before July.
