The equipment has not been received at the terminal. How can I adjust, add or remove the document number of Customs?

The document number can be adjusted by the company that made the pre-notification, provided the equipment has not been received at the terminal. If the equipment has been successfully received at a terminal, see FAQ “The equipment has been received at the terminal.

Select ‘Document number’ to edit and delete a document number in Notification Export Documentation.

  • The document number can be adjusted at the top left at ‘Document number *’.
  • The document number can be deleted by selecting ‘Delete shipment’ at the bottom left. Select ‘Transport equipment ID(s)’ to add a document number in Notification Export Documentation.
  • A document number can be added by selecting ‘Add document’.

Note: If the equipment has arrived at the terminal and an arrival notification has been sent followed by a rejection from Customs, the applicant must always delete the pre-notification and then submit a new pre-notification. Portbase will then only send a new arrival notification to Customs.
