IMPORTANT: In order to switch to IAMconnected, you currently still need a PCS account.
New organizations in the PCS
If your organization is registering with Portbase for a PCS service for the first time, you will be asked to assign a top-level administrator. The top-level administrator is the first to receive a PCS account. During the registration process, Portbase validates the data submitted and your organization is given the status ‘IAMconnected Ready’ – ready to switch to IAMconnected – in the PCS. The first time the top-level administrator logs into the PCS using the PCS account, they immediately switch to IAMconnected. Subsequently, they will log in using IAMconnected. The top-level administrator can create users and give them a PCS account in user management; users log in using that PCS account and likewise immediately switch to IAMconnected the first time they do so.
Existing organizations in the PCS
If your organization is already using PCS services, the top-level administrator and any users already have PCS accounts. In several e-mails sent up to and including March 2021, Portbase has requested that your organization submit up-to-date details. Portbase validates the data of organizations that do so or have done so. As soon as Portbase determines that your organization’s details are valid, your organization is given the status ‘IAMconnected Ready’ in the PCS.
Has your organization submitted up-to-date details and has the top-level administrator been informed that your organization is IAMconnected Ready in an e-mail from the Portbase Service Desk?
