Start with Entry Summary Declaration (ICS2)

The declarations for the ENS (Entry Summary Declaration) are processed via Pre-arrival Cargo Declaration Import. In this article, you will read which steps you must first complete in order to send the ENS filing via Portbase to the Shared Trader Interface.

Shared Trader Interface

You will soon submit the Entry Summary Declaration (ENS) to the Shared Trader Interface (STI). Beforehand, you need to register by following the steps below.

  1. Log in to the EU Trader Portal Customs via e-Herkenning.
  2. Once you are logged into the portal, you will find a menu on the right where STI-STP is displayed. Then click manage preferences. Next, select I am an EO declarant/representative, not active as a submitter.
  3. An overview of possible notifications will now appear. Select which status updates you wish to receive for your declaration.
  4. Then click at the bottom right of the screen on Add communication channel and fill in the fields as shown below. Are you submitting the ENS via Portbase? Then enter the EORI number of Portbase. You can request this via sales@portbase.com.
