How do I enter trailers or vehicles in Notification Export Documentation?

The Notification Export Documentation service has been rebuilt and is currently being rolled out to all users. The information in this article applies to both the old and the rebuilt service (Notification Export Documentation).

Follow the next guidelines when filling in the Transport equipment ID:

  • Accompanied transport: the registration number of the towing unit (without hyphens; enter NL-AB-99 as NLAB99).
  • Trailers (unaccompanied): the trailer number as displayed on the trailer.
  • Other vehicles: the chassis number (VIN number).
