Procedure in the event of a disruption (general)

The Port Community System (PCS) is unavailable

During the disruption

  • Reporting from the PCS is unavailable.

  • Messages from the terminal are placed in a queue.

  • You can wait until the disruption is resolved or compare your Discharge List with the discharge confirmation from the terminal yourself.

  • In the case of an under- or over-discharge, you must wait until the disruption is resolved before reporting this to Customs.

After the disruption

  • The messages from the terminal will still be processed.

  • Reporting from the PCS can once again be accessed via the web screens.

The terminal system is unavailable

During the disruption

  • Messages cannot be sent from the terminal.

  • You must wait until the disruption is resolved.

After the disruption

  • The terminal will send all messages to the PCS for processing.

  • You can view the reports again via the web screens.
