In most cases, a manifest is Rejected because it is submitted too late. Electronically, Customs only allow the submission of the manifest up to 9 days after departure.
In these cases, you can ask Customs to process the rejected message via the National Customs Helpdesk. The manifest does not need to be resent. If Customs process the message, the status of the manifest in the service will change to Accepted.
