Empty containers
Empty, clean (tank) containers are included in the manifest in such a way that no document is required to collect the container from the terminal. This group of containers is identified as shippers-owned empties (cleaned).

Empty containers with residue
Empty (tank) containers with residue are included in the manifest in such a way that a document is required to collect the container from the terminal. This group of containers is identified as shippers-owned empties with residu (uncleaned).

Import manifest
Make sure you indicate in the booking with your carrier or ferry operator that you want to ship empty equipment,
The carrier or ferry operator will indicate via its manifest to the terminal and Customs that the equipment is empty and may leave the terminal without document pre-notification.
