To create an NID notification at a ferry operator terminal, the input screen has been adjusted and the review on the input has also changed. See below what this looks like.
Different: Combination terminals
There are also terminals, such as Matrans and CLdN Distriports, that concern a multiple terminal. At these terminals, trailers, containers or other type general cargo are offered (e.g. loose vehicles).
For these terminals there is a separate operation of the service NID. The input screen adjusts based on the type of equipment for which you want to pre-notify an import document. By default, the equipment 'container' is set.
Change the choice of equipment to 'trailer' and the verification of the equipment number adjusts from 11 to 17 characters. The booking number is not necessary for this pre-notification; the correct equipment number will be recognised by the terminal and linked internally.
