How are transhipments (REN MRN number) linked in Cargo Declaration Export Containers?

For cargo with code 27 – sea in sea out on the import manifest, a REN message will automatically be sent to Customs when the Transhipment service is used. The REN MRN number is then sent to the terminal so that the equipment can be loaded. You can find this MRN number in the export manifest under REN.

For the time being, Customs allows the REN message to be sent in all cases where the EXD (formerly EXS) is required.
