As the authorised representative of your company
- you are ultimately responsible for your organisation within Portbase.
- you appoint a main administrator who manages your account. This main administrator can be yourself or you can assign this role to another person within your organisation.
- you must digitally sign the application form when requesting a new service.
The majority of activities can be carried out independently by a main administrator. For a number of actions, you as the authorised representative must give approval:
- changing organisation details (name / address)
- appointing a new authorised representative
Identification of authorised representative
For security, we require the authorised representative to identify themselves. Based on this information, we review whether you are authorised to act on behalf of your organisation. We use data from the Kamer van Koophandel or similar business registers for this purpose.
For new customers, identification takes place during the registration process. For existing customers, identification occurs during change requests.
