When you cancel a notification, the status first becomes cancel requested and then cancelled, as soon as Customs accepts the request. Is a notification set to cancelled? Then you must acknowledge it in order to create a new declaration. As soon as you confirm the cancel acknowledge, the status changes to closed with exception.
