If all equipment for the document or MRN have arrived at the terminal, Portbase will report the arrival to Customs. Customs only sends a message back if the document is rejected or an inspection is announced. Portbase automatically releases the shipment after 5 minutes. A review can still be announced at any time up to the moment the vessel departs.
In addition, there are a number of document types that do not require an arrival notification to Customs, such as ICT and TT1. These are immediately set to 'Automatically released'.
