What is a commercial window, cargo opening, and cargo closing?

Commercial window

The commercial window is the time span within which a container may be collected from the terminal or depot.

By specifying the expected collection time (ETA) of the transport vehicle in the status request or prenotification, the terminal or depot will return the specific date and time information. For containers to be collected, this can be seen as Commercial Window. If the ETA falls outside the validity of the release, the dot on the prenotification for Commercial Release will turn red.

Cargo opening

The cargo opening is the first time after which a container may be delivered to the terminal/depot.

Cargo closing

The cargo closing is the last moment by which a container must be delivered to the terminal.

For containers to be delivered, this can be seen as Cargo Opening/Closing. If the ETA is before the Cargo Opening or after the Cargo Closing, the dot on the prenotification for Cargo Opening will turn red.

In case of problems
