Error message '4201 TAG 4666 - EORI number not valid' in Transit Declaration

For the error message 4201 TAG 4666 - EORI number not valid, the vessel notification has been rejected by Customs because the Carrier customs-ID of the carrier in the vessel notification is incorrect.

Follow these steps to resolve this:

1. Check the carrier's number again. You can do this via this link.
2. Have you found the correct number? Update the EORI number in your vessel notification.
3. To resend the vessel notification, change the ETA to one minute later. Then click Save.
4. The Send button will then be available to resend the notification.
5. If it concerns an ENS notification that is rejected for this reason, you must first update the carrier in the Vessel Notification. Then, using the redeclare all button in Cargo Declaration Import, you can resend everything.
