In Cargo Release Manager you can follow the process to see when your cargo can be collected at the terminal, based on two main indicators for the two phases of the Secure Chain process. Below you can see a screenshot of the main screen.
For a detailed status of your cargo, click on the container status circles. Each indicator monitors the status of the import phase your container is in. This shows either the overall status or the most critical status. Although Cargo Release Manager shows only 1 indicator per phase, there are more indicators in the background that determine the status. If you want more insight into those indicators, switch to Cargo Controller Import.
Release transport equipment
- Commercial release. This status indicates whether there is an active release in the Secure Chain.
Collect transport equipment
- Inland operator nominated. This status indicates whether an inland operator has been nominated to collect your cargo at the terminal.
This is what the above looks like in Cargo Release Manager.
Meaning of colours and icons
The main indicators show an overall status per phase, or the most critical status. You can read the colours and icons as follows:
: Status is confirmed, all indicators are green.
: At least 1 indicator is yellow; your attention may be required.
: At least 1 indicator is red; your attention is required.
: Process in progress. Not all indicators are green yet, but there are no warnings as with the yellow or red indicator.
: Status not yet known. No update is available yet; there may be an expected status, such as the pre-notification.
With these indicators you are in review of the status of the cargo within the Secure Chain.
Via the monitoring options in Cargo Release Manager you can manage exceptions. More about the different monitoring options can be found in the article Start with Cargo Release Manager (in the chapter Monitoring options (via filters, email notifications and the timeline)).
