How do I convert part of an import B/L to transhipment after ATA?

To convert part of an import B/L into a transhipment B/L after ATA, follow these steps:

In Cargo Declaration Import (MLI)

1. Go to MLI and select the specific B/L.

2. Remove the containers to be transhipped from the B/L here.

3. Change the Sea in sea out status to import status for the remaining containers in this B/L.

4. Resubmit the amended declaration.

In Notification Import Documentation (NID)

1. Go to Notification Import Documentation.

2. If the terminal has NID 2.0, withdraw the NID, make the necessary changes and resubmit.

3. If the terminal does not have NID 2.0, contact the terminal to inform them, amend the NID and resubmit.

Back in Cargo Declaration Import (MLI)

1. Return to MLI.

2. Create a new MLI with the Sea in sea out indicator for the container(s) to be transhipped.

3. Click save and send. The REN will then be sent directly to Dutch Customs.
