This article explains exactly which data comes from the carrier and which comes from the terminal.
Basic data
Based on the import manifest, Cargo Controller Import shows the information that the carrier makes available based on its vessel call in the Dutch port. The reliability and accuracy are at their earliest four days before the scheduled ETA.
To improve the basis, terminal data is significantly more reliable, sometimes up to 14 days before the scheduled ETA. Cargo Controller Import shows carrier data by default, unless other sources are available and/or your organisation meets the conditions. So-called add-ons make data available within Cargo Controller Import under their own conditions. You can read more about these conditions at the bottom of this page.
Am I looking at terminal data or carrier data?
In the status screen of Cargo Controller Import, it is clearly indicated whether the data was provided by the carrier or by the terminal. In the example below, data from the carrier is shown.
Per terminal, the conditions under which you can see data may differ. Below is an example of APM Terminals, which makes its terminal data available free of charge to all Cargo Controller Import users.
The conditions set by a terminal may also result in your organisation not seeing any data until these conditions have been met. See below an example of an organisation that did not have an ECT MyTerminal Free account and therefore does not receive a discharge confirmation.
