A reset of MFA means that you can configure MFA again. This applies in the following situations:
- You have a new or different phone.
- You have lost (or forgotten) your phone and/or security key.
- You want to configure a different method of MFA.
You can reset MFA in IAMconnected.
Who can reset MFA?
If you are the main administrator yourself, please contact Portbase Customer Service to reset your MFA.
- If you, as a user, still have access to your account, you can reset your account yourself (for example, when you have a new phone).
- If you no longer have access to your account, your organisation’s (main) administrator can reset MFA for you. Refer them to the article Reset MFA for an employee.
