Within Cargo Controller Import, you can set up multiple email notifications for yourself. This way, you can easily stay informed when the status of your cargo changes, without having to be in Cargo Controller Import all day.
- Open the user preferences at the top right of the main screen and choose notification settings.
- The email notifications screen opens and at the top you will see your email address. You can adjust this using the adjust button. For example, you can enter the email address of an entire department or a shared mailbox here.
- Using the slider, you can switch an email notification on or off. You do not need to press save.
The email notifications are registered to your account; if you ever stop using this service, this setting will also stop.
In the screen (see screenshot below), it is briefly explained per email notification for which scenario or import phase the notification is useful. For the Secure Chain options, look in the Cargo section.
Email notification frequency
You receive an email notification once per event, and you receive a message for all B/Ls that are visible in your overview. This means you only need to log in to the service when this is necessary.
