If you do not have a smartphone or do not wish to use your private smartphone, you can also use a security key. A security key can be purchased for a few tens. In the video above, we explain how MFA is set up with a security key and how you can log in with a security key.
Below are the steps discussed in the video
- After choosing a password at the first login, click on Security key and then Set up.
- Insert your security key into a USB port.
- Click on Register or Enroll.
• If asked where to save the passkey, choose security key or Security key
• Your computer may ask for permission to view the brand and model of the security key. Agree to this. - If your security key has a PIN, enter it when prompted.
- Place your finger on the security key when prompted.
- Click on Complete. Your account is now secured with MFA.
