For the review of the identification, the free CheckedID application is used, which you can download on your smartphone. The publisher of the app is JanusID.
Identification is based on your passport, identity document or residence permit. You cannot use your driving licence.

Tips for identification
- Check that you download the correct app. Check both the name and the logo.
- During identification, you will be asked to take a photo of your passport, identity document or your residence permit:
- Ensure there is sufficient lighting.
- Glare from the light can be a problem. Try to avoid it as much as possible.
- Use a plain dark background when taking the photo.
- Scan both the front and back of the ID document.
- Use your passport, identity card or your residence permit for identification. Driving licences are not accepted.
- Do not forget to scan the chip in your passport, identity card or residence permit.
