For the review of the identification, the free CheckedID application is used, which you can download on your smartphone. The publisher of the app is JanusID.
The identification is carried out on the basis of your passport or identity document. You cannot use your driving licence or residence permit.

Tips for identification
- Check that you download the correct app. Check both the name and the logo.
- During identification, you will be asked to take a photo of your passport or your identity document:
- Ensure there is sufficient lighting
- Light glare can be a problem. Try to avoid this as much as possible.
- Use an even, dark background when taking the photo
- Scan both the front and back of the ID document.
- Use your passport or your identity card for identification. Driving licences and residence permits are not accepted.
- Do not forget to scan the chip in your passport or identity card.
