MFA resetting for an employee

This action can only be performed by an (admin) manager

An MFA reset by the manager is necessary if users no longer have access to their old phone or security key.

  • In IAMconnected, select an employee in the User management > Employees tab
  • Click the Reset MFA button

Users can also reset their MFA themselves if, for example, they have a new phone or security key. Refer your employee to the article Resetting MFA as a user. The steps in the article can also be used to configure a new security key.
