Secure Chain nomination in Hinterland Container Notification

As an inland operator, you are nominated by your client, which gives you the exclusive right to pre-notify and collect the container. By your client's nomination, a status request is automatically prepared for you in Hinterland Container Notification (HCN), which you can upgrade to a pre-notification as you are used to.

Secure Chain nomination process

  1. In addition to receiving a transport order, as you are used to, your client must nominate you via Portbase. This gives you the exclusive right to pre-notify and collect the container in HCN.

  2. When your client has nominated you, a free status request is automatically created in HCN. You can find this in your HCN overview and it can be converted into a pre-notification.

  3. The same containers for which you are nominated can also be found in the Shipments screen. Can't find a container/shipment in this overview? Then you are (not yet) nominated!
