Sometimes it happens that your organisation cannot be found. When registering organisations, Portbase uses:
- for Dutch companies: the Dutch Kamer van Koophandel
- for companies from other countries: company data from Dun & Bradstreet
Organisation not found
If you are a Dutch organisation: make sure your company has an active registration with the KVK. Portbase uses the current data from the KVK.
If you are a foreign organisation: contact the Dun and Bradstreet office in your country to ensure that your organisation is registered with them, including address details and postcode. It may then take a few days before your company is also findable in our registration process.
Authorised representative not found
If you cannot be found in the KvK or D&B database as an authorised representative, there are several options available:
- manually enter an authorised representative. Please note that in this case, an official extract from the KvK / company register must be added, showing the authorised representative. This extract must be no more than 6 months old.
- Check whether your organisation is linked to a holding company or another private limited company (bv), which may prevent the authorised representative from appearing. In this situation, add an extract for all legal entities in the chain, so that the authorised representative can be traced.
If you are not officially registered as an authorised representative with the KvK and still wish to be registered as an authorised representative with Portbase, please contact us at sales@portbase.com.
