How do I connect via a system interface?

To create a system interface, you need to complete the next steps:

  1. Create a personal IAMconnected account.
  2. Link your IAMconnected account to your organisation.
  3. request a system interface for the service. 
  4. Our Sales department will process your request and our colleagues from Integration Services will contact you to set up the connection.

API specifications

Cargo Declaration Import uses a JSON API. You can find the specifications here.

Message specifications

We recommend that new users build an integration based on the JSON API.

Cargo Declaration Import can currently still be used as a system interface with IFTMCS messages. 

The current specifications (valid until 1 October 2026): IFTMCS 5.8.7.

The new specifications (for obligations from 1 October 2026): IFTMCS 5.8.9 and Implementation Guide.
