Main Screen
In the main screen, all declarations that you have added in the service are displayed. You can also search for declarations using the various filters on the left side of the screen. Additionally, you can search via the search bar by: own reference, article (goods description), equipment number, and GGB number.
Details Screens – Overview and Timeline
You can view the details of the specific declaration via Details in the main screen.
The Overview tab contains the basic information of the declaration. This is the information that will be sent, or has been sent, to the NVWA. You will also see any error codes here. Below is an example of a declaration.
The Timeline chronologically lists the steps the GGB declaration has gone through. Here you can find information such as when the declaration was created, whether the declaration was accepted by the NVWA, and information about the inspection and release.
Rejection reasons are shown at the top of the declaration and are also displayed in the timeline.
Below is an example of a timeline of a declaration.
Add New Declaration
You add a new declaration by clicking on + Add Declaration in the top right corner of the main screen. The new declaration will open, and follow the steps below. After the steps, you will see what this screen looks like.
-
Choose the declaration that matches your cargo. The system will automatically make the required fields visible depending on the fields you fill in or the selection you make.
- For animal origin choose GGB-D
- For non-veterinary foodstuffs choose GGB-P
- Choose the correct destination; import or transit and fill in the other fields
-
You can send the declaration directly by choosing Send or choose Save
Once the declaration has been sent, no changes can be made unless the NVWA returns the declaration to the status Change Request or Rejected. -
Under Documents you add the certificate. The service will adjust the file name to how the NVWA wants to receive it.
The file must be a PDF and can be a maximum of 2 MB in size.
The search options for organisations, GN code, and Animocode use the VGC website of NVWA. It is not necessary to consult this website separately.
Do you also use Veterinary Inspection Process?
In the case of material review or conformity review, an inspection request can automatically be prepared in Veterinary Inspection Process. For this, you must fill in the field Cargo Provider (inspections) in the declaration. You then only need to add the inspection point and inspection date in the service Veterinary Inspection Process.
Errors in the Declaration
When there are errors in the declaration upon sending, they are shown per field with a red circle.
Statuses of the Declaration
In the image below, you can see the possible statuses that are displayed in the main screen along with the explanation.
Copying an Existing Declaration
You can easily copy an existing GGB declaration. Follow these steps:
- Find the declaration you want to copy in the main screen.
- Press Details and click on the Copy button in the top right corner
Deleting (Saved) Declarations
A draft declaration can be deleted directly. You do this in the overview screen of a saved declaration.
Once sent, declarations can only be deleted in consultation with NVWA. In the timeline, you can see if the declaration has been sent.
Printing a Declaration
Via the main screen, you can select declarations to download them. Once you have done this, the Print option is available.
Only declarations with a GGB number can be downloaded for printing
