Create New Transhipment
To create a new transhipment load, go to the Transhipment tab and click on New transhipment.
Declare Transhipment
As a deepsea carrier
Fill in the required information. If you are doing this in your role as a deepsea carrier, you only need to enter the consignment number.
As a feeder operator
If you are working in the role of a feeder operator, you need to enter both the consignment number and the container number.
Then click on the Declare Transhipment button. The new transhipment will now automatically appear in the overall overview of transhipments.
Mark Consignment as Transhipment
If you are entering the transhipment in your role as a deepsea carrier and you know in advance that it concerns a transhipment load, your process will look different. You will then follow these steps.
- You mark the relevant consignment in the Import Declaration with Sea in Sea out – code 27. This code 27 marking then automatically generates a Transhipment line in the Transhipment service.
- You see the status REN Scheduled
-
When you click on the relevant consignment (line), you will see multiple details and again the status REN scheduled.
- This status changes when the status feedback from Customs is provided.
Customs Feedback
You receive a status feedback from Customs because at the moment the Port Authority sends the ATA:
- the REN notification is automatically sent to Customs
- the PCS receives an MRN number from Customs
- the PCS sends an NID notification (incl. MRN) to the terminal
- the REN status in the Transhipment Service changes to REN Accepted.
- the NID status in the Transhipment Service changes to NID Accepted.
- When both the status NID Accepted and REN accepted are green, your transhipment message is complete. If one of the labels remains red (rejected), please contact us.
