Creating a system interface (API) with Cargo Controller Export

What is Cargo Controller Export?

With Cargo Controller Export, the entire export journey of the container or trailer load is transparent and you have control over your transport. This page is a source of information to help you integrate your own systems with the Cargo Controller Export API in a prepared and confident way.

How do I connect via a system interface?

To create a system interface, you need to complete the following steps:

  1. Create a personal IAMconnected account.
  2. Link your IAMconnected account to your organisation.
  3. Request a system interface for the service via the website.
  4. Our sales department will process your request and our colleagues from Integration Services will contact you to set up the connection.

In the article Request an API or system interface you will find more information about creating an account and requesting a system interface.

Please take into account whitelisting the Portbase IP addresses on the production and/or test environment.

API specifications

Cargo Controller Export uses a Webhook API. You can find the specifications in the developer portal.

Test scenarios and use cases

To test whether your system interface works properly, you can use the Customer Test Environment (CTE) to verify the connection. You can use this environment to test subscribing to a booking and to check whether the API information is processed correctly in your system.

For the test scenarios, see the article Implement the Cargo Controller Export API.

Once the system interface has been requested, the contact person in the request will receive the information needed to cancel the interface. If you have any questions, please contact sales@portbase.com.
