Other organisation does not have an EAN number in the Secure Chain

Without an EAN number, an organisation cannot present itself as an inland operator within the Secure Chain. The service for inland operators (Hinterland Container Notification) also requires the EAN number in its core processes to communicate with terminals.

Option 1

This party will need to register with Portbase as a forwarder and take out the service Cargo Controller Import or Cargo Release Manager.

Option 2

This party will need to join Secure Logistics . After that, the service Hinterland Container Notification can be requested from Portbase.
