If all equipment of the document or MRN has arrived at the terminal, Portbase will report the arrival to Customs. Customs only sends a message back if the document is rejected or an inspection is announced. Portbase automatically releases the shipment after 5 minutes. A review can still be announced at any time up until the moment the vessel departs.
In addition, there are a number of document types that do not require an arrival notification to Customs, such as ICT and TT1. These are set directly to 'Automatically released'.
