Register subcontractor for collecting containers in Hinterland Container Notification Road

To register a subcontractor for collecting containers, you have two options, depending on your situation:

1. If you handle the pre-notification yourself and possibly outsource the collection of the container, you arrange this via Handlings. There is no change in your current working method. If you have the transport carried out by another party, read the instruction for ECT Remote Check-in.
2. If you want to nominate another inland operator for both the pre-notification and the collection of the container, you arrange this via the Shipments dashboard. Open the Shipments tab and then via the Forward button, nominate and register another inland operator for your container(s).

Through these actions, your inland operator is included in the Secure Chain and all CargoCards linked to this organisation are recognised. If you do not do this, the driver will be refused at the terminal. After the commercial release is granted, you can submit the pre-notification.
