Start with MyData for data owners

Access to the MyData application is limited to users with the role main administrator and data manager.

Inloggen bij MyData
  1. Go to www.mydata.pcs.portbase.com.
  2. Log in to IAMconnected.
  3. Click the MyData tile to open the application.

Grant or deny access

  1. In the MyData application, you will land in the Catalogue. This is where the range of data services is visible.
  2. On the left-hand side of the application, you will see Data Owner view. This page provides an overview of all data services where you, as the data owner, can share data with consumers.
  3. When you click a data service, you will see information about this data service and any applicable conditions.
  4. In the Data Access tab, you will see an overview of organisations that have access to the data service, and you can manage access for consumers.
  5. The link between your organisation as the data owner is facilitated by the data provider of the relevant data service (in the Vessel Visit example, the data provider is Portbase).

Notifications

If you, as the data owner, are linked to a data service and an organisation requests access to your data, the contact person of your organisation will receive an email notification to review the request in MyData. You will also see an orange dot with a number in MyData. This is a notification that an action is waiting for you in MyData.

By default, the main administrator of your organisation is designated as the contact person in MyData. If you would like to set up a different contact person or email address for your organisation in MyData, go to the page change contact details in MyData.
