Start with MyData for data users

login to MyData

Access to the MyData application is limited to users with the role main administrator and data manager.

1. Go to www.mydata.pcs.portbase.com.
2. Log in to IAMconnected.
3. Click the MyData tile to open the application.

Subscribing to a data service

1. In the MyData application, you will land in the Catalogue. This is where the available data services are shown.
2. On the left-hand side of the application, you will see Data User view. This page provides an overview of all data services you are subscribed to.
3. When you click a data service, you will see information about that data service and any applicable conditions.
   • The Data owners tab provides an overview of the data owners who share data via the data service. If you are a subscriber to a data service, you can request access (an authorisation) from data owners there.

5. If you want to subscribe to a data service, request access to the data service by clicking the subscribe or request access button in the top-right of the screen, when approval from the data provider is required.
6. If you want to cancel a subscription, click the unsubscribe button in the top-right. Any data authorisations linked to the data services will then also be withdrawn.

Requesting permission to subscribe to data

To subscribe to data, you must request permission (authorisation) from the data owner(s) of the data service. On the left-hand side, you will find Data User view. Clicking this takes you to the overview of all data services you are subscribed to. For these data services, you can request permission from data owners to gain access to their data or stop access.

Via the system interface of the data service, you can subscribe to the data from the data owners for which your organisation has an authorisation (data permission).

The contact person of your organisation will receive an email notification when the request has been submitted, or when there has been a response from the data owner to your request. In MyData, you will see an orange dot with a number if an action is waiting for you in MyData.

By default, the main administrator of your organisation is marked as the contact person in MyData. If you want to set up a different contact person or email address for your organisation in MyData, go to the page change contact details in MyData.
