Today, Tuesday 19th of March between 6 AM and 10 AM, we will make the new service ‘Declaration Food and Consumer Product 2.0 available for you. We will keep you informed via the in-service messages.
In the new service we have added traffic lights and filters make it easy to see the current status or find a group of declarations you are looking for. Also, when setting up a new declaration, you have direct insight which field you can skip or are mandatory. And, there is a direct link with the NVWA to find the exporter and importer references.
Important to know:
- Action needed! You should manually change your organization details in the service to make sure the NVWA has the right contact details. This setting can be found at the top right of the main screen under ‘Organisation Configuration’. Note that the name of one individual will be mentioned on all declaratations.
- Declarations from September 2023 and onwards, are both present in the old and renewed service. Want to copy older declarations? Have a look at this FAQ.
- You will also have access to the old service, view only. You can finish your declaration from the old service in the renewed service
- You can set up your email notification preferences in the service. This setting can be found at the top right of the main screen under ‘Notification Settings’
- The option is made available to add the certificate (PDF) in the declaration. From the 1st of April 2024 the NVWA uses this information, it decreases processing time.
