Creating an IAMconnected account

Go to the website: https://www.iamconnected.eu.

There are two ways to create an account:

1. Your administrator creates an account for you. You will receive an email with a link to set your password and MFA. You will then be directly linked to your administrator’s organisation.
2. You create an account yourself and submit a request to be linked to your organisation. This works as follows:

Here, you can create your own account.

• In the home screen, click the button that says ‘Ready to get started? Create your own IAMconnected account now’.
• Enter your personal details in the blanks provided on the screen. You must fill in all requested information. The user name you enter must be unique. The email address must be a personal, individual email account.
• Next, you will be asked to complete a CAPTCHA test in order to verify that the information was not entered by a robot.
• If the preceding steps have been completed correctly, the ‘Create account’ button to the lower right of the screen will become active. Click the button marked ‘Create account’.

Once you have done this, you will need to activate the account. For that purpose, an activation email will be sent to the email address you provided. The activation email will also contain your user name. We recommend that you save this email; that way, you will always have a record of your IAMconnected user name.

In the email, select the option ‘Activate my IAMconnected account’. You will then be prompted to set a password for IAMconnected. Once you do, you will immediately be logged in.

IMPORTANT:  All IAMconnected users must be connected to a company (your employer or the organisation that has contracted you for certain tasks) in order to access services through IAMconnected.

Configuring Multi Factor Authentication (MFA)

Multi Factor Authentication provides a more secure method for logging in. In addition to a username and password, you also enter a 6-digit code. This code is generated by an app on your smartphone.

• Click on set under “Authenticator app”
  

• Select your phone type: iPhone or Android (for example, a Samsung, OnePlus, Motorola, and Google Pixel phone)
• If you don’t have an Authenticator app yet, click on one of the recommended apps and download it to your phone. In this example, we’ll use Google Authenticator. Click next.
  If you already have a suitable Authenticator app, you can use it. Other suitable Authenticator apps include Microsoft Authenticator and DUO.
• Open your Authenticator app and click on “add code” (or on the + at the bottom right). Click on “Scan QR code”.
  

• On your phone you will now see a six digit code. Click “next” on your computer, fill in the code and click “verify”.
       

• Lastly, you will see a screen “Set up multifactor authentication”. Click on “finish”, this will complete the MFA.
  

Logging into IAMconnected

• Go to https://www.iamconnected.eu. and select ‘Log in’.
• Next, enter your user name and password.

If applicable, you will be asked to provide a multi-factor authentication (MFA) code; copy this from Google Authenticator, enter it in the relevant field and select ‘Verify’.

After log-in, you will be directed to the home screen.

Here, you can choose from the services available to you by clicking on one of the service tiles. You can then log into that service.

Connecting to an organisation

In order to access services via IAMconnected, your account must be connected to a specific company. It is possible to connect your account to multiple companies as well. In other words: if you work for more than one company, you can do this using a single IAMconnected user account.

To connect your personal user account to a company, follow these steps:

• Log in
• On the home page you will see ‘Link your account to an organization for access to services.’. Click on the blue button ‘Link to existing organization’
• Enter the first letters of the company name (please note this is case sensitive). IAMconnected will display the companies found in its system. Select the desired organisation.
• Select ‘Connect me to this organisation’
• Once your administrator has approved the connection request, you will be able to make use of the services available to the company in question.

IAMconnected ’Home’

After log-in, you will be directed to the home screen.

Here, you can choose from the services available to you by clicking on one of the service tiles. You can then log into that service.

Forgot password or username

Managing personal data

Select the following link https://www.IAMconnected.eu and choose ‘Login’.
Enter your username and password (if you are using the authenticator app, select ‘verify’).
Then select the ‘My Profile’ tab.

Here you can modify your personal settings.

Organization Administrator; Register/Manage Organization Data

You can only create a new organization on IAMconnected, or manage its data, if you are an Organization Administrator.

1. After an IAMconnected account has been created, you can create a new Organization via the ‘Organization Management’ tab.
2. To do so, select the ‘Register new organization’ button.
3. Enter or amend the data as appropriate and then choose ‘Save
