How do I create an account?
IAMConnected
Portbase uses a central login system IAMconnected. Any organisation using our services must create an organisation account. Employees also have to create an account which will be linked to this company account.
IAMconnected is the central login system for all Portbase services, allowing you to organise easy and secure access to your digital services 24/7. It offers a complete solution for identity & access management for both employees and external users. IAMconnected facilitates the management of access for all employees through Portbase. Portbase guarantees the highest security standards and ease of use this way.
Create Account
Go to IAMconnected to create your account:
After creating your account, you will receive an activation mail. Activate your account via the link in the email and set your password. You are then logged in immediately. The activation mail also mentions your username. We recommend you save this e-mail so you can always find what your IAMconnected username is.
Important: To gain access to the services via IAMconnected, you must be linked to an organisation. This can be the organisation you work at or are hired by. You can link to one or several organisations via your IAMconnected-account and log into the required services that way. Root administrators at these organisations will have to approve this request first and then provide you with rights to our services.
Secure Chain
The Secure Chain is a joint initiative of governments and the business community for the secure physical and digital collection of containers in the Port of Rotterdam. PIN codes are disappearing; instead, there will be a closed release and collection process with only authorised shipping lines, agents, shippers, forwarders and inland operators.
Do you want to apply to participate in the Secure Chain? Then follow the same steps explained at IAMconnected to create your account and link yourself to an organisation within this secure network.
How do I change my account?
You can change your personal account via 'my profile'. The fields that can be edited are: First name, last name, e-mail and personal phone number.Changes take effect immediately.

How do I change my password?
You can change your password via 'my profile'. Enter the current password there, followed by the new password you want to use twice.
What should I do if I forget my login details?
You can change your password by clicking “Need help registering, forgot password?" in the IAMconnected login screen and then “forgot password”. After entering your username, you will receive an e-mail containing a link to set a new password.
You can find your username in the IAMconnected activation e-mail. If you can't find it, please contact the user administrator or top-level administrator of your organisation.

How do I turn on MFA?
You can do this via ‘profile' - 'MFA (Multi-factor Authentication)' You will then be automatically logged out. When you log in again, you will be guided through the configuration of MFA. You can find more information on the special MFA page.
How do I turn MFA off?
This is not possible for security reasons.
How do I change my business information?
Business information such as e-mail address, phone number and logistic roles are used to assign certain privileges in the applications. You can change these via "my profile > business context tab". The change must be approved by a user administrator/the top-level administrator.
