This procedure is generic.
What to do during a malfunction?
All notifications must be submitted directly to the Harbour Master. You must personally check with the Harbour Master whether your most recent notifications from before the malfunction occurred have arrived. The 24 hour notification will be reduced to 8 hours. You must report all vessels to the Port Coordination Centre (PCC) by fax or email eight hours prior to arrival. This may be done in any reporting format that is available to you. PCC’s response message is confirmation that you have fulfilled your obligation to report. Please bear in mind the fact that no details are sent to the collectors. You must therefore contact the collectors yourself.
What to do after the malfunction has been resolved?
When the malfunction has been resolved, you must submit your notification waste disposal electronically via the PCS retroactively. If you have any questions, please contact the Portbase Customer Service.
What to do during a malfunction?
You can continue to submit notifications via the PCS, however you will not receive a confirmation of receipt. As soon as you have clicked ‘Send’, you have fulfilled your obligation to report. The 24- hour obligation to report shall continue to apply. Collectors automatically receive information from the PCS.
What to do after the malfunction has been resolved?
If you have not received a confirmation of receipt during the malfunction, one will arrive shortly. If you have any questions, please contact the Portbase Customer Service.
