The service Road Back-Up provides a backup service for road transport if the regular service Hinterland Container Notification Road is unavailable due to a malfunction. In this guide, we explain how to retrieve your login details for Road Back-Up in a few short steps.
We strongly recommend retrieving your login details immediately – this can be done even if Road Back-Up is not active. If necessary, you can then use Road Back-Up straight away.
Go to Road Back-Up to get started
In the ‘Organisation‘ field, enter the shortname of the company you work for as recorded by Portbase in the PCS.
Important! Only the users who have access to user management within the PCS can view the shortname of the company you work for. In addition to the lead administrator, user administrators also have access to user management within the PCS. Only the lead administrator can appoint user administrators within the PCS.
In the ‘User name‘ field, enter your personal user name as recorded in the PCS. When creating an account for the PCS via IAMconnected, a random user name is automatically generated.
Important! Only users who have access to user management within the PCS can view your personal user name. Your user name is visible under the ‘User’ tab after clicking on the individual user. Besides the lead administrator, user managers also have access to user management within the PCS. Only the lead administrator can appoint user administrators within the PCS.
In the ‘Activation code‘ field, enter your personal activation code.
Click here to request your personal activation code. The activation code is sent to the e-mail address recorded in the PCS for the user name entered. The activation code is linked to the user name and does not change. That means you don’t have to request a new activation code every time you want to log in to Road Back-Up.
