Renewal of Notification of Arrival ECS Cargo and Cargo Declaration Export Bulk.

7 January 2025 | Arrival Notification Export

The services ‘Notification of Arrival ECS Cargo’ and ‘Cargo Declaration Export Bulk’ are being updated. The current services no longer meet the latest standards in terms of security, encryption, and data reuse for other Portbase services.

What’s changing?

Firstly, the services will have different names. ‘Notification of Arrival ECS Cargo’ will become Arrival Notification Export, and ‘Cargo Declaration Export Bulk’ will be Cargo Declaration Export. These new names will be shown on the main screen. In addition to the name changes, the following improvements have been implemented:

  • Notification management can be configured per user more easily
  • Enhanced User Experience with improved filter and preference options
  • Automatic generation of draft manifests from Vessel Notification (only applicable in Cargo Declaration Export)
  • Known issues with copying shipments from the arrival notification to the manifest have been resolved (only applicable in Cargo Declaration Export)
