Upgrade of the service Veterinary Inspection Process

Over the past months, Portbase has been working on an upgrade of the service Veterinary Inspection Process (VIP). Together with pilot participants, procedural features were operationally tested and a new version was developed.

The design has been adapted for all users to the latest standards, with an eye on security and optimisation. User-friendliness is key. You can easily find your inspections using the new filter and search function.

• An Excel upload and download for bulk registration;
• Design similar to Cargo Controller;
• Optimisation regarding the management of time slots;
• Easy follow-up of inspection status.

Going live
The renewed service will be available on Monday 15 May 2023 at 12:00.

From then on, the new service will be available and you can request inspections at inspection points from Thursday 1 June 2023. This means you can plan ahead from 15 May with inspections taking place in June. In the current service, you cannot request new inspections after 31 May 2023.
