Please note: For the service Inspections Portal, you will need to adjust the settings for the corresponding e-mail notifications yourself so that you can be kept informed of any inspections that apply to you.
It’s possible that in the past, you made use of e-mail notifications from the service Cargo Declaration Import or Customs Scan Process. These email notifications will be discontinued as of 1 November 2017.
You will find the e-mail notifications in ‘Notification management’ under ‘Inspections Portal’. Each user in your organisation will be able to sign up for the e-mail notifications relevant to your company, simply by filling in the desired email address.
Types of e-mail notifications
After you have logged in, go to ‘my services’ and click on ‘Inspections Portal’
Here, you will see an overview of all inspections of your cargo registered by Customs, spanning a period of two weeks past and one week ahead of a given date.
If you wish to request data for a longer period of time, you can also use the download option: simply click the ‘Download’ button. You will then receive all inspections yielded by the selected filter, in the form of a digital document.
Selecting an inspection in the overview screen will enable you to view the details of that inspection.
Locations:
The location ‘Inspection site’ means that the inspection will take place at the terminal where the cargo arrives.
The location ‘DCL’ means that you must arrange for the cargo to transported to the nearest Customs Inspections warehouse/state inspectorate terminal.
