Rejected by customs, I see an error code, what should I do?

To change the pre-notification, you need to go through a number of steps. This FAQ explains these steps.

Error code Description Solution
- Diversion REJECT Your prenotification in Notification Export Documentation needs to be amended. The document type may be incorrect.
6210 The structure of the MRN indicates that the MRN is incorrect. Your prenotification in Notification Export Documentation needs to be amended.
Check whether you have correctly copied the MRN number and type in the prenotification in Notification Export Documentation.
6229 The arrival notification was sent by the terminal more than 7 days ago. The terminal needs to send a new arrival notification to Portbase. Click here to find the contact details.
6233 The document has a status which means export is not possible. One possibility is that the document has already been used for export or has been cancelled. Your prenotification in Notification Export Documentation needs to be amended.
A different export document must be entered in the prenotification in Notification Export Documentation; the current status cannot be changed.
90 MRN is unknown. Your prenotification in Notification Export Documentation needs to be amended.
Check whether you have correctly copied the number and type of the transit document in the prenotification in Notification Export Documentation.
91 The MRN has already been released. Your prenotification in Notification Export Documentation needs to be amended.
92 Registration of arrival notification is impossible with current MRN status. One possibility is that the document has been cancelled or not activated. One possibility is that the prenotification in Notification Export Documentation needs to be amended.
93 MRN is invalid, does not comply with algorithm. Your prenotification in Notification Export Documentation needs to be amended.

3200 Customs has received this specific arrival notification from the terminal before. Please contact the terminal so that it can report the arrival again.
12 Location does not correspond This error message refers to the location you entered in the declaration that does not match the permit. You can only use a location that appears in the permit.
6282 MRN was rejected because the ship had already left. Your pre-notification in Notification Export Documentation should be adjusted because an incorrect export document has been registered. If the correct export document is registered, it is best to contact Customs.
